We are a diverse group of people who share a passion for riding. We ride as often as possible, enjoying the thrill of the open road and the joy of sharing the experience with other riding enthusiasts. While we do put a strong emphasis on safety, the main goal is to ride and have fun doing it.

Let's face it, fun is what motorcycles are all about!

The SCRC is a laid-back, casual club with only a few simple guidelines:
•  There are no Yearly Dues
•  You do not have to attend all club meetings or events
•  There are no mandatory tasks for you to perform
•  There are no major commitments

However, we do ask a few things from our members:
•  A well maintained motorcycle with proper registration, insurance, and inspection
•  A valid motorcycle license
•  Never give the club a bad name
•  Always ride safely
•  A minimum level of participation in club activities

We ride for the thrill of riding. The cost for membership is FREE. The patch [optional] is only $40. We promote Motorcycle and Public Safety rules, and under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will we be involved in any illegal activities.

The SCRC participates in charity fund raising rides, local and long distance rides, club dinner rides, and of course the occasional “mystery” ride which may lead us anywhere. Most of our rides are fairly local and not 500 miles from here. Whether you ride a Yamaha, Harley, Honda, Kawasaki, or whatever, you will always be welcomed at the Southern Cruisers Riding Club.

We're sure that you have some of the same questions that most of our members had when they were looking for a club to join, so let's address some of the ones most frequently asked.

Q: What are the members like?

A: Our membership covers a wide range of people in both age and profession, riding many different brands and styles of motorcycle. All are quality safety-minded people who share a positive attitude and a passion for riding.

Q: How often do you ride?

A: Frequently! We ride every Thursday night during the warmer months. We have longer rides planned as well during weekends, rallies, national, and local events. All the rides planned can be seen on this web site's calendar.

Q: What if I can't make a ride?

A: No problem. We are an easy going chapter, but a very active one. We understand that everyone can't be at every event. But we do require at least some level of participation, getting together and riding is what we do, and is the point of being in a riding club!

Q: Can I bring a family member or someone with me on a ride?

A: Absolutely! We are a great group of responsible men and women that respect others and promote a family atmosphere. Feel free to bring your friends also! All are welcome.

Almost every member that joins has some uncertainty, and wonders what it will be like to be a member of a riding club. Let us assure you that it's a good group of quality people, and a good time!
